Why Studio Cleanliness Matters

Tattooing and piercing break the skin — that means sterility is not optional. At Wild Ink, exceeding provincial health regulations is part of our identity, not a checkbox.

100% disposable equipment

Every needle, tube, and grip we use is single-use and discarded after your session. Nothing that contacts broken skin is ever reused. Period.

Sterile work surfaces

Workstations are cleaned and disinfected between every client. Barrier film covers machines, clip cords, and any surface that cannot be sterilized. Our artists wear fresh gloves for each procedure.

Autoclave sterilization

Reusable tools like piercing clamps go through hospital-grade autoclave cycles and are stored in sealed pouches until opened in front of you.

Licensed and inspected

All Wild Ink locations operate under Ontario health regulations and undergo regular inspections. Certificates are displayed in-studio — ask to see them anytime.

What you can look for

A reputable studio welcomes questions about their process. Watch for sealed needle packages opened in your presence, visible cleaning between clients, and artists who wash hands and glove up before touching equipment.
